Clare turns 9 years old today! And that means it's time for one of my favorite traditions. Here are some of my favorite quirky Clare moments I've caught this year.
Me: Did you know anyone else at the party?
Clare: Not at that pacific party, but I did see a girl I knew who was at a different party.
(She always get pacific and specific mixed up!)
Clare: Does anyone want my autograph?
Me: What are you famous for?
Clare: Saying 'oww' all the time... Never being in the Olympics... And for being annoyed by my younger sister.
Clare: I got a cooked potato!
Me: You mean baked?
Clare: Same difference
When you leave and then you come back, I always think you are more beautiful. (Be still my heart, little one)
Yellow is a very zazzy color.
When I get married, my husband is going to fix my hair every morning. That way I don't ever have to do it. And he can learn new styles and fix it for me. (She's got this all figured out apparently)
(In the middle of a normal conversation, Clare looks at me straight faced and says) Did you know 15 minutes could save you 15% or more on car insurance?
I'm drinking my life away. (Said while getting her 3rd glass of water for the evening)
